BOOKING AND RESERVATION POLICY
Terms of Payment and Booking Policy
• Fifty Percent (50%) down payment is required to confirm reservation. Payment can be done via Bank Transfer or GCash Payment. Then, send copy of validated deposit slip for confirmation through E-mail: mariposaresortph@gmail.com. or in our FB Main or FB Page: Mariposa Farm (Resort) , Mariposa Farm Resort Balance amount must be paid on or before Check-in. Any incidental charges will be paid separately prior to Check-out. Checks are not accepted for payments.
• We are also requesting valid IDs from all guests checking in at the hotel for confirmation. This is for safety purposes, and we assure you that your personal information is safe and will be kept confidential.
Cancellation Policy
• Early Checkouts/Shortened Stays & No-Shows for confirmed bookings will not be refunded.
• NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE CANCELLED BOOKING. However, a re-scheduling or rebooking may, at the sole discretion of the Resort shall be considered Customers will also be liable for any costs incurred by the cancellation.
• Mariposa Resort shall not be held liable for cancellation of bookings and shortened stays because of Force Majeure/Acts of God or conditions beyond the Management control, i.e. floods, earthquakes, explosions, fire, civil disobedience, war, bad weather, tropical storms or typhoons, and delays of third parties.
• No exceptions are made to our cancellation policy, including personal emergencies or governmental issues.
• Also, the Resort will not be held liable for failure to carry out arrangements and other obligations due to the aforesaid circumstances. In such cases, a re-scheduling (rebooking) or other arrangements may, at the sole discretion of the Resort shall be considered, but subject to availability and within six (6) months from time of booking. The rate at the time of booking will prevail, but if a schedule will be changed from lean period to peak period, the price difference will be collected.
Swimming Pool Policy
• Guest is only allowed in the swimming pool area and to use any swimming pool facility during the advertised hours.
• Parents and or guardians are liable for the safety of their children at all times.
• Children, 17 years old and below must be supervised by an adult or a responsible person who is at least 18 years old and in swimwear attire. Children under 5 years old need to have a responsible person in the water with them and within arm’s reach at all times.
• Guest must wear proper swim suits or swimming trunks into the pool. Clothing such as maong or thick clothes not permitted in the pool.
• Guest changing into swimwear must use the changing rooms provided.
• Guest is expected to shower before entering the pool and wash their feet each time they re-enter the pool.
• Running and the conduct of any activity that may cause accidents is not permitted in the pool premises.
• Usage of the swimming pool is prohibited during thunderstorm or heavy rain for safety reasons.
• Bringing of food or drinks inside the pool is not allowed.
• Glass container or breakable service ware are not allowed in the pool or at the pool side.
• Spitting, spouting water, blowing of nose, urinating and vomiting in the pool is prohibited.
• Courtesy to others in regard to minimizing invasive noise, ensuring supervision of children and not holding unoccupied sun loungers is requested.
• Other than the “Designated Smoking Area”, the pool area is a non-smoking facility.
• Guest suffering from infectious diseases such as colds, open wounds, nasal, eye or ear discharged or any other contagious diseases are not allowed to swim.
• Swimming and use of the pool facilities is at Guest’s own risk. The management and the owner is not responsible for any accident or injury.
• No lifeguard on duty, All guest using pool do so at their own risk.
Lake or Fishing Spot Policy
• Lake is available on daytime only.
• Fishing is allowed, but there's a fee for every kilogram of fish caught.
• Children, 10 years old and above are allowed to participate or do the lake activities. Below 10 years old is prohibited.
• Guest must wear proper life jacket at all time.
• Running and the conduct of any activity that may cause accidents is not permitted in the lake premises.
• Usage of the lake is prohibited during thunderstorm or heavy rain for safety reasons.
• Throwing food or any garbage in the lake is not allowed.
• Spitting, spouting water, blowing of nose, urinating and vomiting in the lake is prohibited.
• Lake facilities is at guest’s own risk. The management and the owner is not responsible for any accident or injury.
• No lifeguard on duty, All guest utilizing the lake, do so at your own risk.
House Rules and Policy
SECURITY CONCERNS, MISSING ITEMS/VALUABLES
• Management is not liable for the lost, stolen or damaged items. Please keep all your valuables and do not leave your things unattended, especially at the pool area.
• For security reasons, Guests are advised to refrain from entertaining any person who is not know
• Keep your door locked when not in the room or when you are sleeping.
• Bringing of firearms, any harmful object, toxic/poisonous material, and/or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any of such will be subject to confiscation.
• Guests are advised to take all necessary precautions. The management will not be liable for any accidents or injuries.
• If you have minors with you, make sure to supervise and keep a close eye on them while they're inside the farm resort, and don't let them wander around alone.
• All vehicles must be parked at the farm resort designated parking areas only. Vehicles should be properly locked before leaving the parking area. The Management is not liable for any loss or damage on your vehicles.
DAMAGES AND LOSSES OF RESORT’S PROPERTY
• Any items missing from a unit’s inventory or any damages and losses of items inside the rooms belonging to the resort shall be charged to the room occupant. Moreover, vandalism or any form of damage on resort property is subject to a Php1,000.00 fine plus cost of replacement and repairs
PROPER CONDUCT
• Please observe silence between 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Guests are advised to respect the privacy and comfort of other guests. Hence, kindly refrain from loud music or any noise during these hours.
• Management shall respect your privacy at all times, however, illegal activities or disorderly conduct inside the rooms and within the resort premises are strictly prohibited. The management reserves the right to eject any guests found engaging in fights or violence, found using illegal drugs, or under the influence of alcohol and disrupting the peace and order of the resort.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
• Alcoholic beverages may be consumed or allowed only within your rented premises or within the resort designated areas. Consumption of alcohol by minors below 18 years of age is prohibited. Please Drink Moderately. Excessive use of alcoholic beverages and open displays of drunk and unpleasant behavior are not permitted and it will result in immediate removal by Resort Management. Therefore, drinking alcohol should be monitored to prevent any trouble.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS & RISK CONTROL
• Avoid generating big fires - Do not leave heated grill unattended. After using the grill, clean it and do not leave trash and debris in receptacles.
• Flammable substances such as candles and gas & electric stoves for cooking are strictly prohibited inside the room.
• Please inform any Resort Staff before using any electrical outlet inside and outside the room or within the resort premises to avoid accidental short circuit.
UTENSILS, REFRIGERATOR AND ETC.
• Please bring your own utensils (spoons, forks, plates) and cooking equipment (pots, pans) as these not provided by the hotel
• We will only store perishable food items in the refrigerator such as meat, vegetables, and milk. We will not refrigerate water and any type of alcohol.
PARKING
• If you have a car there is parking available in front of the hotel and outside of the hotel with a 24/7 CCTV coverage. The gate will be closed at 10:00pm and parking will be outside
CLEANLINESS
• LITTERING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED - Please help keep the beach and resort premises clean and litter-free at all times by disposing or throwing all your trash in the designated trash cans.
Guests are required to observe these House Rules which are designed and aimed for their protection. The management reserves the right to implement additional and applicable rules to regulate the safety and well being of our guests. Violation of these Rules will result in eviction without refund for all guests.
